Director of Business Development
PeacePartners offers a generous performance-based compensation for a motivated, entrepreneurial individual driven to make a difference in the lives of children. We are looking to fill this position at our corporate headquarters in Long Beach, California.

Areas of Accountability:
  1. Sales
  2. Marketing
  3. Customer Service
    • Create and expand new and current business relationships
    • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
    • Develop and construct reports on sales and/or marketing plans, market information, competitor information, etc.
    • Learn a sophisticated knowledge level of product offerings and keep up-to-date technically
    • Achieve monthly sales goal
    • Expand current programs
    • Support marketing efforts
    • Facilitate product presentations and trainings
    • Develop sales reports
Desired Candidate would possess:
  • B.A. in Education or Business preferred – classroom experience is a plus
  • Proven track record in quota achievement and growth of a geographic territory
  • Active listening, originality, problem sensitivity, time and goal management, and inductive reasoning
  • Entrepreneurial personality, initiative, and self-motivating
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local education market
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent oral and written skills
  • Solid Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint skills and experience creating and maintaining reports
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for presenting, promoting, and selling products and services (i.e. marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques)
  • Southern California location
