National PeaceBuilder |
|
| As our way of honoring PeaceBuilders who go beyond all expectations, PeacePartners, Inc. recognizes several
“National PeaceBuilders” throughout the year. These exceptional people work unselfishly to
build peace in their homes, in their schools and in their communities; and in so doing they make the world a
better place for all of us. Join us in celebrating each and every one of them for their contributions in creating
safer, more peaceful learning environments. |
| September 2007 |
Have you ever met someone so warm and welcoming that just being near that person made you feel good? Do you know someone whose smile actually invites you to be happy too? Is there someone in your life who dispels your worries with a hug or a kind word?
All the employees at PeacePartners™, Inc are fortunate to work with a woman who personifies the PeaceBuilders spirit and way of life. We have learned from her kindness, from her openness, from her calmness, and from her joy exactly what it means to be a PeaceBuilder. |

| PeacePartners Peace Ambassador, Claudette Powers |
We all remember the day we first met Claudette because her kindness captivated us. Her smile welcomed us. Her hug warmed our souls. Everyday that we spend with her we are reminded that being a PeaceBuilder is not a job; it is not a mandate. It is a way of living.
Claudette Powers encourages people to be better.
Her example shows us how to build peace by respecting and appreciating others in every situation, no matter what is weighing us down or dulling our enthusiasm. Claudette reminds us that it is how we make others feel that matters most.
It is our honor and privilege to share our wisest of wise people with you by naming our own Peace Ambassador, Claudette Powers, as our PeaceBuilder of the month for September 2007. This month and every month here forward, let us all strive do as much as Claudette does to spread peace by treating others kindly. |
