  Karen Olivares is the Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO at PeacePartners. She joined the team in April of 2007. She worked at a day care center prior to being hired as an instructional aid for the Lynwood Unified School District. Prior to PeacePartners, she was employed by Knott’s Berry Farm for over twenty-five years, starting in the fast foods shops and then working in various administrative support roles. Karen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities with a focus in German from the California State University of Long Beach.
What Karen likes best about working at PeacePartners is that the office not only supports the facilitation of the PeaceBuilders program but it models the PeaceBuilders Principles on a daily basis. Karen believes that peace for our children, our schools and organizations, our communities, our world has to start with us as individuals.
What makes Karen happy is the laughter and voices of friends and family. Her hobbies and interests are music, painting, and crafts. |
