  Mayra Rangel has been working with PeacePartners since June of 2007. Among the many projects she has had the opportunity to work on, she acts as our receptionist and answers the calls that come in on our toll-free line. Before working with our team, she taught young children at the Long Beach Day Nursery.
The thing that Mayra likes best about working at PeaceBuilders is that everyone is very friendly and we like to practice the sixth PeaceBuilders Principle: Help Others.
There are two things that make her happy: her family and chocolate. She loves dark chocolate as it has a bittersweet taste to it. Mayra’s hobbies are reading and listening to music. Her current favorite book is the Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
Mayra’s favorite peace quote reminds her that it is great talking about peace, and believing that we can achieve it but if we don’t act on achieving peace we won’t reach it. |
