Trish Stevens has been an office support
volunteer with PeacePartners since October of 2007. She is very active in community service in Long Beach: fundraising for local children's hospital with the Steel Magnolias
and participating in many philanthropic events with the Assistance League of Long Beach.
What she likes best about working at PeacePartners is the people. They are a very special group who really practice what they teach: peace, love and mutual respect.
An interesting fact about Trish is that she's a Canadian of Irish heritage living in Long Beach, California. She spent her honeymoon here over 25 years ago and always knew she'd be back. Now you can find her on the beach, singing "O' Canada"
while eating potatoes, cabbage and ham. She loves the American people and feels very fortunate for having the opportunity to live in this wonderful country.
Trish stays busy with many activities including decorating, singing (in the shower), live theatre, gardening and going out to lunch with friends. She loves going to the park and beach with her four adorable dogs.
Trish's favorite quote exemplifies her belief that it's important to set an example for change on our planet. She strives to make a positive difference while she has the chance. |
“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
