PeacePartners, Inc. honors our valued partners by celebrating their passion for peace, their creative ideas, and the wonderful implementation strategies they incorporate.

As we continue to support our partners, it is our privilege to showcase PeaceBuilders sites. Don't just take our word for it. Read about some featured sites as they explored their problems, developed their PeaceBuilders solution, and discovered positive outcomes! We invite you to sit back and explore the fantastic PeaceBuilding events happening throughout the United States and U.S. Territories.

St. Albert - Louisville, KY
We welcomed St. Albert the Great School to the PeaceBuilders family in August, 2007. From the very first day, their enthusiasm has been an inspiration.

The wise adults have carefully worked with their young people to define and discuss all the PeaceBuilders Principles to ensure they understand not only the concepts but their responsibility to put them into practice.
First, the teachers and students examined the concept of “Peace.” They defined the word in terms of sensory perceptions and actions, and then determined how they could work together to increase peace in their classrooms and at their site.
They created beautiful artwork that represents their vision of peace and decorated their school.
To encourage young people to be PeaceBuilders day by day, special PeaceBuilding students are honored each week on a common bulletin board. Young people who are practicing the Principles and learning to build peace receive praise and public acknowledgement for their effort.
In fact, PraiseNotes have become part of the daily ritual at St. Albert the Great School. They are given freely and hung on PraiseBoards in the classrooms and throughout the campus.
The PraiseNotes on these PraiseBoards take the shape of puzzle pieces and point out that we are all an important “piece” of the “peace.”
This PraiseBoard includes important symbols of peace: the doves carrying olive branches and the banner draped across the earth that honors diversity and encourages unity by spelling the word “peace” in different languages.
We are always happy to welcome new partners to our PeaceBuilders family. We especially appreciate learning about new partners who bring a preexisting passion for peace and a refreshing enthusiasm to our family. Welcome, St. Albert the Great School. We are greater for your collaboration.
