There are numerous ways to reward children and teens for their PeaceBuilding behaviors. To ensure peaceful acts persist, it is important to use many different methods of reward at your site. Young people need to know that we are watching and that we value the peace they build each day.
At Morse Pond Middle School, not only do they use PraiseNotes consistently, they also acknowledge outstanding PeaceBuilders in a very special way. At this thriving PeaceBuilders site, exceptional young people are selected to be PeaceBuilders of the month. |

| Each month the special PeaceBuilders are acknowledged on the PeaceBuilder of the Month Tree for everyone to see and appreciate. |
Public acknowledgement instills pride and ensures young people will continue to behave in ways that increase peace. When they achieve this reward and the positive comments that it incites, they and their peers are highly likely to continue behaving in PeaceBuilding ways.
We praise the staff at Morse Pond Middle School for modeling all the PeaceBuilders Principles for their students, especially the Principle Praise People with such enthusiasm and consistency.
