An enthusiastic training and a dedicated staff are two important prerequisites to the successful development of a PeaceBuilders
culture at a school or organization. That means the staff and students at Seeley Elementary are headed for a great year of building peace!
The staff and administration participated eagerly in their PeaceBuilders training and show their commitment to building peace through the
"Visions of Peace" posters they created.
Staff worked in small groups to create a shared vision of the peaceful site they intend to develop. They were asked to illustrate what they
will see, hear, and feel at this perfectly peaceful school.

In this vision, people of different shapes and colors will cooperate with and appreciate each other. They will feel safe,
secure, and joyful. There will be lots of smiles and laughter.

This group envisions a serene landscape with a big, friendly smile. They hear laughter, music and kind words.
They feel loved, happy and at peace.

This vision of peace makes sure to include all the various school settings in their plan for peace. Each
location includes happy children. Unhappy children are non-existent in this perfectly peaceful environment!

atmosphere full of sunshine, music, love and r-e-s-p-e-c-t.

finds a foundation of acceptance.

The staff at Seeley Elementary already has a strong foundation of kindness and an obvious dedication to the children
they teach and to each other. They also now have a shared vision of the culture they are determined to create. We congratulate
the wise adults at this site for making PeaceBuilding the priority.
